📋 Description

• Converse with advanced language models on synthetic pathways and theoretical chemistry questions • Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses • Capture reproducible error traces and document failure modes • Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics • Challenge language models on advanced synthetic chemistry topics to improve scientific reasoning and training data

🎯 Requirements

• Expertise in synthetic chemistry, including organic synthesis, reaction mechanism design, stereochemistry, retrosynthetic analysis, organometallic chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, catalysis, and structure–activity relationships • Ability to evaluate multi-step synthesis planning, protecting group strategies, asymmetric catalysis, reagent selection, total synthesis of natural products, reaction optimization, and functional group transformations • PhD in chemistry or a closely related physical or life-science field is ideal • Peer-reviewed publications, laboratory synthesis experience, or applied chemical development project experience signal fit • Clear, metacognitive communication and ability to show your work • Secure computer and high-speed internet • Geographic location may affect final offer amount
