📋 Description

• Lead integration and validation of external data sources, including credit bureaus, bank and open finance data, tax data, and financial data • Partner with engineering on data pipelines and data quality • Clean up customer data consents and connections for reliable, compliant external-data access • Replace manual credit and portfolio processes with repeatable, documented SQL/Python workflows • Define data quality checks and documentation • Develop and refine underwriting criteria and credit limit strategies • Design customer management strategies, including credit line increases, decreases, and reinstatements • Identify high-risk customers and build loss-mitigation processes • Partner with Sales and Business Development to align growth strategies with credit policy • Define portfolio KPIs and build dashboards • Build early-warning signals and monitoring routines • Provide Collections with segmentation and prioritization insights • Contribute to loss forecasting and risk-adjusted return analysis with Finance • Apply statistical methods to identify risk drivers and inform strategy • Develop, validate, and monitor credit risk models • Help define rules and data requirements for automated credit decisioning • Translate model results into recommendations for credit leadership and business partners • Use AI tools to support analysis and verify outputs against source data • Suggest and help build improvements to AI workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 3–7 years of analytics experience in credit risk, with hands-on work on commercial or SMB credit in cards, payments, lending or a related industry • Advanced SQL proficiency • Working proficiency in Python for analysis and statistical modeling, including regression, segmentation, and clustering • Experience with version control (e.g., GitHub) is a plus • Direct experience with external or alternative data sources, ideally including integrating or cleaning them • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini in analytical work • Track record of turning analysis into an implemented credit policy or strategy change with measurable results • Clear written and verbal communication • Professional fluency in English • Ability to work with meaningful overlap with Latin American business hours • Knowledge of Latin American credit data and open finance ecosystems is preferred • Experience implementing, validating, or monitoring risk and scoring models is preferred • Experience supporting collections strategy or early-warning programs is preferred • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Metabase, or Claude Visualization Tools is preferred • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred • Experience in a high-growth startup or fintech is preferred
