📋 Description

• Analyse operational, project, and maintenance activities across JLL business lines to identify critical risks and potentially fatal consequences • Identify critical controls, assess their vulnerability, and define assurance activities needed to ensure reliability • Investigate incidents and high-potential near-misses to drive operational learning and continual improvement • Collate safety data and calculate leading and lagging performance metrics • Coordinate with operations teams to plan and execute field verification interventions and deep dives • Verify the presence and effectiveness of critical controls in operational, project, and maintenance activities • Identify local constraints, unsafe deviations, and lessons that improve understanding of risk • Promote good practices and support critical control assurance across APAC requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety, or equivalent discipline • Experience in construction, facility, or property management environments with exposure to high-risk work and assets • Experience analysing operational, project, and maintenance activities to identify hazards, unwanted events, and potentially fatal consequences • Experience identifying critical controls, assessing their vulnerability, and determining required assurance activities • Experience extracting insights from incidents and high-potential near-misses • Working knowledge of leading and lagging safety performance indicators, data collation, and metric calculation • Skill coordinating operational deep dives and field verification activities • Ability to identify occupational and operational/process safety hazards, including live electricity, confined spaces, hazardous chemicals, and working at height • Experience preparing and reviewing risk assessments, HIRAs, JSAs, and SWMS • Working knowledge of permit-to-work system design and implementation • Working knowledge of control failure analysis, assurance and verification activities, routine inspection, and preventive maintenance for critical controls • Willingness to expand knowledge of contemporary safety management, operational risk management, and emerging good practices • Preferred: recognized qualification in safety management or risk management • Preferred: experience implementing and assuring critical control management systems in complex, multicultural environments • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail • Focus on building relationships with stakeholders • Proactive approach to issue identification and resolution • Commitment to continual improvement and operational learning • High integrity and willingness to intervene if unsafe conditions are encountered
