📋 Description

• Design and implement enterprise Azure API Management architectures aligned with cloud strategy and business objectives • Develop advanced APIM policies for transformation, authentication, caching, traffic management, and security • Design integrations across Azure, AWS, and GCP services and API management platforms • Establish API standards, governance frameworks, lifecycle management, security policies, and compliance requirements • Design OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect integrations with Okta, including authorization, JWT validation, and token introspection • Coordinate Azure APIM security with Akamai WAF for defense-in-depth protection • Build CI/CD and GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep • Oversee APIM operation, optimization, scaling, capacity planning, disaster recovery, monitoring, and cost optimization • Establish API documentation, developer portal, version control, testing, and promotion workflows • Evaluate alternative API management platforms and design migration or hybrid multi-cloud integration strategies • Partner with architects, developers, business stakeholders, security teams, compliance teams, and cloud providers • Mentor developers and lead proof-of-concept and continuous-improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • 8+ years of experience in software development, cloud integration, or enterprise architecture roles • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM) in production environments • Experience working in multi-cloud environments spanning at least two of Azure, AWS, and GCP • Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-scale API solutions across cloud platforms • Expert-level knowledge of Azure API Management, including advanced policy authoring, multi-region deployments, and virtual network integration • Experience with Azure APIM products, subscriptions, versions, revisions, backends, named values, networking, developer portal customization, and API publication workflows • Working knowledge of AWS API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and core compute/storage services • Working knowledge of GCP services • Understanding of cross-cloud networking, VPN, dedicated connections, and hybrid connectivity • Strong experience integrating API management platforms with Okta • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT validation, token introspection, and claims-based authorization • Experience with Akamai WAF or similar web application firewalls • Familiarity with secrets management across Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, and GCP Secret Manager • Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, infrastructure-as-code, Terraform, and GitOps principles • Extensive experience with Azure Integration Services • Deep knowledge of Azure monitoring and observability tools • Understanding of Azure networking and security services • Deep understanding of API design, RESTful architectures, and microservices patterns • Knowledge of .NET, Python, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, YAML, and JSON • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, strategic thinking, and Agile collaboration skills
