📋 Description

• Integrate Karbon practice management, QuickBooks Online, HubSpot, and CCH Axcess using APIs where available • Implement AI in existing processes, including drafting account-manager email replies from client calls, email threads, notes, and Karbon data • Automate recurring workflows, such as extracting QuickBooks Online data for client tasks • Support AI-assisted first-pass tax-return review using XML output from CCH Axcess • Set up and manage local AI infrastructure and cloud environments such as AWS according to data sensitivity • Coordinate with the existing MSP provider on IT matters • Work with team members to understand processes and identify AI and automation opportunities • Own and evolve the firm's systems and AI strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience integrating SaaS systems via APIs and building automations • Hands-on AI implementation experience, including selecting local versus cloud tools based on data sensitivity • Working knowledge of local AI setups and cloud environments • Proficiency in AWS • Excellent spoken and written English • Ability to explain technical concepts in plain terms and train non-technical team members • Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions • Willingness and ability to overlap with US hours until around 2pm US Eastern • Own laptop and reliable high-speed internet connection • Experience or interest in accounting and finance is a bonus • Familiarity with Karbon, QuickBooks Online, HubSpot, or CCH Axcess is a bonus • Self-starter who can work independently and propose better solutions • Long-term-minded and interested in growing with a fast-moving firm

• $3,500 to $4,000 USD per month • Full-time independent contractor position • Fully remote, with flexibility on location as long as you overlap with US Eastern hours until around 2pm ET • 2 weeks of paid vacation • 5 sick days • Christmas week and July 4th week off with pay • 5 local holidays • Own laptop and reliable high-speed internet connection required for the role
