⢠Process payroll for employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. ⢠Manage and oversee timekeeping systems to ensure accurate tracking of employee hours. ⢠Handle all payroll-related tax filings, including quarterly and annual returns. ⢠Administer employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. ⢠Generate and analyze payroll reports for management, accounting, and auditing purposes. ⢠Address and resolve payroll-related queries or issues raised by employees. ⢠Ensure proper classification of employees (e.g., exempt vs. non-exempt) in accordance with labor laws. ⢠Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure they are up-to-date. ⢠Assist in preparing for internal and external payroll audits. ⢠Develop and update payroll policies and procedures. ⢠Oversee the management of employee leave, including vacation, sick leave, and other absences. ⢠Collaborate with the finance department to assist in budgeting and forecasting payroll expenses. ⢠Continuously seek ways to improve payroll processes and increase efficiency. ⢠Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll information and employee data. ⢠Manage relationships with payroll service providers and other third-party vendors.
⢠No previous payroll experience required; extensive training will be provided. ⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ⢠Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. ⢠Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. ⢠Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ⢠Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. ⢠Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is a plus. ⢠Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations is a plus.
