📋 Description

• Own data quality and reliability for assigned projects • Drive the end-to-end data testing strategy for data pipelines and analytical platforms • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance • Oversee release readiness • Collaborate with data engineering, product, and data science teams on manual and automated testing efforts • Partner with Data Engineering and Product leadership to define data validation and automation strategies • Design and execute complex backend data-system tests covering data integrity, distributed-systems logic, transformation consistency, and asynchronous batch or stream processing • Use AI-powered tools to prototype and scaffold test suites, diagnose failures, and generate data-validation scenarios • Develop, maintain, and extend scalable data automation frameworks and data-quality monitoring suites using LLMs • Establish and enforce data QA best practices, coding standards, and code-review processes • Promote automation-first data quality and reduce manual testing and reconciliation effort

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent professional experience • 7–10 years in Software Quality Assurance • Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end testing efforts across the full software and data lifecycle • Knowledge of relational databases • Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries for data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis • Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, data warehouse architecture, and OLAP technologies such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery • Strong proficiency in Python, including reading, understanding, and debugging data pipeline code • Proven experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks, test suites, and CI/CD-integrated testing pipelines • Experience using AI-powered tools such as Augment, Cursor, or Gemini for test authoring, debugging, and data documentation • Experience managing the full release cycle for data features, including testing requirements and Go/No-Go delivery decisions • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities • Exceptional attention to detail • Ability to work independently in fast-paced Agile development teams with minimal supervision • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
