📋 Description

• Contribute to the technical backbone that turns an ops-heavy group purchasing business into a scalable software platform • Replace manual, people-dependent procurement workflows with trustworthy, accurate, scalable, and self-serve software • Contribute to the technical platform, including tech architecture, order workflows, matching and pricing logic, data foundations, and automation layers • Turn messy food procurement processes into reliable product workflows • Help the business scale without losing pricing accuracy, order integrity, or operational trust • Enable the team to serve more restaurants with less manual work • Lead end-to-end architecture through launch with a bias for speed and impact • Solve user problems through pragmatic technical tradeoffs

🎯 Requirements

• Backend depth: built and scaled production systems • Proven ability to architect and orchestrate multi-service applications • Deep hands-on expertise in TypeScript/Node.js and Python • Frontend experience with React, Flutter, or similar • Experience modeling messy real-world data into trustworthy systems at scale • Track record of automating operations-heavy processes with AI • Avid use of state-of-the-art AI development tools such as Claude Code • Product judgment: led end-to-end architecture through launch with a bias for speed and impact • Made pragmatic tradeoffs to solve user problems • Nice to have: experience building B2B platforms such as procurement, marketplaces, or supply chain • Nice to have: startup or scale-up environment experience • Nice to have: experience with billing, invoicing, payments, or reconciliation systems • Nice to have: scaled and led technical teams through architecture, code review, and engineering standards
