Kaufland e-commerce is the technology arm and employer brand powering Kaufland’s international online marketplaces. 📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the end-to-end lifecycle of data science services, from conceptualization and prototyping to production • Embed in the marketing organization and become an expert in creating value through data science • Influence marketing budget spending allocation and overall multi-channel strategy • Ensure the reliability and high performance of deployed services • Share expertise to raise engineering excellence within the data community

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the data science toolbox and selecting appropriate methodologies • Strong foundation in statistical modeling, including causal inference, regression, and hypothesis testing • Experience with performance marketing, spend optimization, and attribution • Excellent Python and SQL skills • Ability to translate complex business problems into high-impact technical solutions • Familiarity with modern infrastructure tools such as Kafka, Kubernetes, or Datadog is desirable • Production experience in a cloud environment, ideally GCP, is desirable • Fluent English at C1 level • Ability to work in a dynamic, international environment
