Kaufland e-commerce is the technology arm and employer brand powering Kaufland’s international online marketplaces. It builds and operates the Kaufland online marketplaces and Kaufland Global Marketplace (KGM) — a B2B all‑in‑one seller solution — and develops related digital products (for example the Kaufland app and Kaufland Card). As an independent tech company collaborating with Kaufland retail, KEC focuses on marketplace platform, product and engineering teams and employs 800+ people across multiple German locations and remote to serve millions of customers and thousands of merchants across Europe.

📋 Description

• You are the central point of contact in the Internationalization Team with a focus on data and analytics for our new marketplaces • You create analyses and Tableau dashboards — from strategic to operational — and derive concrete recommendations for action for Country Management and the business units • You take on data and analysis requests, model topic-specific datasets in Google BigQuery, and keep our core KPIs in mind • You support the creation of business cases for international initiatives and proactively contribute your own proposals • You identify automation potential in analysis and reporting processes and implement initial automations with tools like n8n — in collaboration with our Center of Excellence for Automation • You use AI tools and LLMs purposefully to make your work more efficient (e.g., for data preparation, research, or initial prototypes of AI-supported workflows)

🎯 Requirements

• You have a university degree and solid professional experience as an Insights, Business, or Data Analyst, ideally in e-commerce or online marketplace environments • You are data-savvy, possess strong analytical skills, and pay attention to detail • You have very good knowledge of SQL and a visualization tool (ideally Tableau) • You have initial experience with automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Make and have a basic understanding of APIs and data formats like JSON and REST • Basic scripting in Python or JavaScript is familiar to you, or you are willing to develop further in this area • You actively use AI tools and LLMs in your daily work and understand how prompting and AI agents can be applied to business use cases • You have excellent English skills (C1) and good German skills (at least B2/C1)
