📋 Description

• Design, code, deploy and maintain highly scalable software components and optimal data pipeline architecture for large-scale data volumes • Work across the stack and low-level systems, and design broad distributed-system interactions • Assemble large, complex data sets meeting functional and non-functional business requirements • Build systems for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from diverse sources using SQL and big-data technologies • Create data tools for analytics and data science team members to build and optimize the product • Mentor junior software engineers • Collaborate closely with data scientists, data analysts, product and business teams • Contribute to Kayzen's real-time bidding platform, real-time budget system, real-time event processing, stream data processing engine and distributed data pipelines

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience working in distributed systems • Min. 5 years of experience in coding & implementing complex projects • Proficiency in Java; C++/Golang is a MUST • Good understanding of multi-threading, JVM, GC and profiling tools • Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases • Proficiency in working in a Unix/Linux-based environment • Hands on with AI development tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, with demonstrated AI usage, adoption and agentic coding in day-to-day work • Ability to work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment and be excited to learn • Degree in Computer Science or a related field
