📋 Description

• Assist the Lodge Manager with the overall day-to-day management of the property. • Maintain consistently high standards of guest service and hospitality. • Ensure all lodge operations run efficiently and in accordance with established standards. • Support and motivate the lodge team, fostering a positive and professional working environment. • Assist with staff scheduling, training, supervision and performance management. • Handle guest enquiries, requests and concerns professionally and efficiently. • Build strong relationships with guests and ensure a personalised luxury experience. • Monitor operational standards across guest areas, housekeeping, food and beverage and general lodge operations. • Assist with stock control, ordering and operational administration where required. • Support the management team with cost control and maintaining operational efficiencies. • Ensure health, safety and service standards are consistently upheld. • Act as a senior point of contact for the lodge in the Lodge Manager’s absence. • Work closely with guides, kitchen, housekeeping and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous management or supervisory experience within a luxury lodge, safari camp or high-end hospitality environment. • Strong understanding of luxury guest service and lodge operations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Confident leadership ability with a hands-on approach. • Strong organisational and administrative skills. • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-focused under pressure. • A genuine passion for hospitality, conservation and the safari environment. • Ability to work effectively as part of a remote lodge team. • Professional appearance and a strong attention to detail. • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
