📋 Description

• Drive projects end to end, from unclear problems to shipped solutions, focusing on impact • Work across the stack as needed with product, design, data, and operations • Partner with product to frame problems and deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable systems • Own end-to-end delivery of complex features or critical workflows • Define technical approaches balancing simplicity, reliability, and maintainability • Drive technical discussions with cross-functional members and stakeholders • Lead debugging of difficult production issues using hypothesis-driven analysis and production data • Ensure baseline observability, including metrics, logs, and exceptions, from project inception • Coach, mentor, pair with, and unblock junior engineers • Collaborate with peers and grow expertise across the team • Own data correctness, quality, observability, auditing, confidentiality, and incident response for project data paths • Design and maintain schemas and transformations, including tables, events, and payloads • Design monitoring for data invariants and failure modes • Improve architecture, modularity, layering, and boundaries • Influence technical direction, testing, operations, reviews, and deployment practices • Lead by example in reviews, incident handling, and technical planning • Shape solutions with the squad, understand the underlying business problem, and drive relevant project metrics

• Identify with the Engineering Values: Ownership, Collaboration, Growth, Excellence, and Sustainability • Drive end-to-end delivery of complex features or critical workflows • Lead debugging of complex production issues using metrics, logs, traces, and data inspection • Support other engineers through mentorship, pairing, and code reviews • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality, including observability and auditing where relevant • Demonstrate engineering excellence in reliability, testing, and maintainability • Comfortable working across the stack while developing depth in one or two areas over time • Use AI-powered tools to increase productivity and quality while retaining ownership of decisions and outcomes • Experience or capability in technical project ownership, system design, observability, data quality, and incident response
