📋 Description

• Provide first-line monitoring, ticket triage, troubleshooting support, and assistance with approved change implementation for Cisco enterprise network infrastructure • Ensure reliable connectivity, timely incident response, accurate escalation, and successful execution of routine network changes • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer networks in a complex, multi-vendor environment • Identify and resolve network issues, make configuration changes, and implement security policies • Test and apply corrective actions, including emergency changes • Participate in change reviews as needed • Plan and execute routine network changes with the network support team • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and outages • Communicate with end customers, project managers, and service engineers • Maintain network components, monitor network performance, and maintain network security • Provide user support for network-related issues • Investigate incidents end-to-end and determine root cause before escalation to L2/L3 engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 3 years+ of IT, network support, service desk, or network operations experience • Experience with ticketing systems, monitoring platforms, and documented operational procedures • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, EIGRP, BGP, HSRP, NAT, ACL, switching protocols, F5 LTM load balancing, and Riverbed WAN optimization • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting commands and network monitoring tools • Ability to analyze outputs and identify issues across switching and routing protocols • Experience troubleshooting network incidents end-to-end and determining root cause before escalation to L2/L3 engineers • Ability to follow documented procedures and apply analytical thinking beyond runbooks • Ability to accurately document troubleshooting steps, findings, and root cause • Strong communication skills and attention to detail • CCNA or equivalent networking certification (preferred) • Exposure to enterprise NOC, service desk, or infrastructure support environments (preferred) • Basic familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes (preferred)
