📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end preparation and review of statutory financial statements for multiple EMEA entities • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax, and legal teams • Ensure timely and high-quality statutory audits • Provide technical guidance to junior team members • Review deliverables for quality and consistency • Ensure alignment between statutory and corporate reporting, including local GAAP vs. US GAAP bridge • Partner with regional finance and controllership teams to resolve complex accounting and audit issues • Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across statutory reporting • Support implementation of new accounting standards and corporate initiatives affecting statutory processes • Maintain control and documentation frameworks for audit readiness and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 5+ years of progressive experience in statutory accounting, audit, or financial reporting in a multinational environment • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs across EMEA • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple entities under tight deadlines • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse teams and geographies • Ability to work independently and drive deliverables in a complex, fast-paced environment • Prior experience with Big 4 auditors or large multinational companies preferred • Exposure to cross-border statutory audits and group consolidation processes preferred • Experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives preferred • Additional European languages (German, French, Spanish, or others) are a strong plus
