📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end preparation, review, and delivery of statutory financial statements for multiple EMEA entities • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax, and legal teams • Provide technical guidance to junior team members and review deliverables • Ensure alignment between statutory and corporate reporting, including local GAAP to US GAAP bridge reconciliations • Partner with regional finance and controllership teams to resolve complex accounting treatments, transactions, and audit issues • Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization across statutory reporting activities • Support implementation of new accounting standards and corporate initiatives affecting statutory processes • Maintain internal control and documentation frameworks for audit readiness and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline • 5+ years of progressive experience in statutory accounting, audit, or financial reporting within a multinational environment • In-depth practical knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs across EMEA jurisdictions • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Hands-on experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems • Strong analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple entities under tight deadlines • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills across diverse global teams • Ability to work independently, make sound accounting judgments, and drive deliverables in a fast-paced environment • Professional accounting qualification or certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred • Prior experience with Big 4 audit firms or large multinational corporate shared services preferred • Practical exposure to cross-border statutory audits and group consolidation processes preferred • Working proficiency in additional European languages such as German, French, or Spanish preferred
