📋 Description

• Design and ship user-facing interfaces across the platform, including device screens used in operating rooms and internal engineering and research tools • Build visualization tools that turn surgical video, medical imaging, and model output into actionable information for clinicians and researchers • Establish reusable components and front-end patterns for team-wide UI development • Connect front-end applications to APIs and real-time data streams from edge devices • Improve reliability and responsiveness for applications handling dense, high-stakes data • Contribute to regulatory-grade development processes, including documentation and traceability standards for medical software • Ship reusable UI components and establish front-end patterns during the first 3–6 months • Deliver an interface for visualizing complex surgical or imaging data using team feedback • Build fluency across platform APIs and real-time edge-device integrations • Contribute to code reviews, testing practices, regulatory documentation, and traceability work • Collaborate with software, computer vision, machine learning, modeling, and design teammates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent demonstrated experience • 2+ years building front end software applications professionally, through internships, or through significant personal projects • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript with a modern framework such as React, Vue, or Angular • Solid grasp of component based architecture, state management, and responsive UI development • Experience integrating front end applications with APIs and backend services • Comfortable with Git and collaborative development workflows • Strong communication skills across technical disciplines, and comfort in a fast moving, evolving environment • Experience with real time data, video, or scientific visualization, including WebGL or Three.js (nice to have) • Familiarity with desktop frameworks such as Electron, Tauri, or Qt (nice to have) • Exposure to medical devices, healthcare software, or other regulated software environments (nice to have) • Familiarity with Python or Python based backend systems (nice to have) • Overlap with U.S. business hours • English required for application materials and client-facing communication
