📋 Description

• Ship backend services and APIs powering internal tools and the deployed medical device platform • Build and maintain data pipelines connecting operating-room devices to cloud processing and diagnostics • Turn surgical video, medical imaging, and AI model outputs into dependable user interfaces • Move research prototypes into production-quality software with tests and clear documentation • Drive testing, CI/CD, and containerization practices for reliable releases • Partner with computer vision, machine learning, and design teammates to deliver end-to-end software • Support development practices aligned with medical-grade regulatory standards • Ship software across at least two stack layers within the first 3–6 months • Build fluency with edge and cloud software and data flow from the operating room through diagnostics • Contribute to code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and regulatory-grade documentation • Establish working relationships with software, computer vision, machine learning, modeling, and design teammates

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent demonstrated experience • 2+ years of professional software development experience; senior candidates should bring significantly more • Proficiency in Python • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern front end framework such as React, Vue, or Angular • Experience building or integrating APIs and backend services • Strong fundamentals in debugging, testing, asynchronous programming, and version control • Comfort working with Git and Linux based development environments • Overlap with U.S. business hours • Fluent / professional working proficiency in spoken and written English for client-facing conversations
