📋 Description

• Develop and evaluate growth strategies, investment opportunities, and business expansion initiatives • Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and investment business cases • Evaluate project economics and capital requirements; recommend optimal financing structures • Support project and acquisition financing activities • Identify opportunities to grow existing businesses and expand into adjacent markets through acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, greenfield projects, and strategic investments • Lead and support end-to-end execution of M&A, JV, and strategic investment projects • Coordinate and manage cross-functional due diligence workstreams covering commercial, financial, legal, tax, operational, technical, and ESG reviews • Prepare and present investment recommendations, strategic analyses, and transaction updates to senior management, executive leadership, and governance committees • Monitor investment and strategic project performance against approved business plans • Support integration planning, value creation initiatives, and post-investment reviews • Contribute to corporate strategy development, including country, regional, business strategic reviews, and Board materials • Attend and support preparation for investment committees

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in an investment bank, private equity fund, transaction advisory, management consulting company, corporate development, or M&A within an MNC • Proven experience evaluating, structuring, and executing strategic investments, joint ventures, partnerships, and M&A transactions • Strong project management experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple workstreams in a complex, matrix organization • Exposure to commodities, agriculture, food, industrial, or related sectors preferred • Exposure to corporate strategy initiatives preferred • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing objectives, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines • Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities • Ability to travel when needed; travel is required and varies according to project requirements • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and presentation development capabilities • Good verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in English • Proficiency in one or more Southeast Asia (SSEA) languages advantageous • Degree in Business/Accounting or MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance
