📋 Description

• Own automation outcomes for assigned product areas • Participate in planning before coding begins, considering scope, risk, data, and environments • Select appropriate API, E2E, smoke, manual, and exploratory testing layers • Build and evolve test frameworks using page objects, flows, typed API clients, and fixtures • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve testability • Formulate deterministic test scenarios and comprehensive test strategy plans • Own fast, deterministic, and diagnosable CI end-to-end testing • Fix test flakiness at its root cause • Report automation coverage, gaps, and remaining risk • Identify, categorize, and report actionable defects with screenshots, traces, error messages, and stack traces • Direct AI agents to plan scope, generate tests, investigate failures, and maintain automation • Build reusable AI tooling, agent skills, subagent definitions, and machine-readable testing conventions • Shape testing standards and support quality deliveries for LearnWorlds’ online learning platform

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Quality Assurance / Software Testing engineer, with strong automation ownership • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practices • Hands-on experience with Playwright or a comparable modern web automation framework and Page Object Model design pattern • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions • Ability to produce and document test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and test strategy plans • Experience across API, UI, cross-browser, and responsive testing layers • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills • Strong attention to detail and product-oriented mindset • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a non-hierarchical flat organization • Strong prioritization, estimation, and scheduling skills • Ability to learn the LearnWorlds platform quickly and connect automation decisions to customer workflows • Proven Agentic AI skills for planning, generating, debugging, and maintaining automation • Strong judgment when reviewing, steering, and rejecting flaky, insecure, poorly structured, or irrelevant AI-generated tests • Nice-to-have: Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized test environments • Nice-to-have: Experience in EdTech, LMS, payments, ecommerce, analytics, mobile, or complex SaaS products • Nice-to-have: TestRail, Zephyr, or similar test management tools • Nice-to-have: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Nice-to-have: Backend/API automation beyond UI flows • Nice-to-have: GitHub repositories, open-source contributions, or personal projects
