📋 Description

• Support Engineering Scrum Teams in building high-impact software and features that deliver customer value • Serve as an agent of continuous improvement and change by keeping Scrum teams focused, guiding delivery, removing blockers, and ensuring teams have needed support • Align teams, identify delivery risks, suggest process improvements, and escalate blockers requiring leadership intervention • Facilitate communication and monitor progress on team commitments, keeping stakeholders updated • Champion Agile values, principles, practices, and change management across Scrum teams and the LegalMatch organization • Evaluate and enhance Agile practices to improve software delivery effectiveness • Steward Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, working agreements, estimation practices, and cross-team dependency planning • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement • Support Product Owners with product backlog refinement, organization, optimization, and alignment of team goals and OKRs with business priorities • Coordinate release planning and deployment activities with Scrum, Release and Incident Management, and engineering teams • Onboard, train, mentor, and coach Scrum team members • Monitor team health and guide ongoing improvement, self-organization, ownership, and organizational results • Partner with HR and Practice Leads on probationary team member performance evaluations • Develop coaching plans supporting continuous learning and professional development • Promote responsible use of AI-powered tools, automation, documentation, planning, knowledge sharing, delivery tracking, and engineering workflows

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role • Servant leadership demonstrated through proactive problem-solving and positive example-setting • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks including Scrum and Kanban • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Agile Scrum Master Certification and/or SAFe Certification preferred but not required • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) • Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Gemini for Agile delivery, collaboration, documentation, planning, development workflows, or automation • Ability to evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools for team productivity with responsible and effective use • Ability to promote practical and responsible AI adoption while protecting quality and supporting engineering and governance practices • Advanced proficiency in Jira and Confluence, including JQL, automation rules, dashboards, reporting, velocity, cycle time, throughput, and delivery metrics
