📋 Description

• Design, build and deploy cloud security capabilities protecting Leidos cloud-based systems, networks and information assets • Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert across cloud security services and technologies • Provide guidance on cloud security architectures, shared responsibility models and cloud provider security capabilities • Partner with global cloud engineering, infrastructure and cyber security teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions • Work with Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS platform teams to enhance security controls and capabilities • Support operational cloud security services to keep them effective, compliant and aligned to business needs • Collaborate with Security Operations and Incident Response teams on investigations, threat detection and remediation • Develop technical documentation including solution designs, implementation guides, standards and operational procedures • Identify opportunities to automate security processes and improve operational efficiency • Contribute to cloud security roadmaps and strategic initiatives strengthening Leidos' global cyber security posture

🎯 Requirements

• Must be an Australian citizen • Must hold minimum a Baseline security clearance, with ability to obtain NV1 security clearance • 5+ years' experience in Cyber Security, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or a related technical discipline • Experience implementing, supporting and monitoring enterprise cloud security technologies across Azure, AWS or other major cloud platforms • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security services, cloud-native security controls and shared responsibility models • Experience with identity and access management technologies including Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory and Okta • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls and secure network design • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID governance, Conditional Access and MFA advantageous • Knowledge of CASB, cloud governance, logging, monitoring and enterprise-scale cloud security architecture advantageous • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code, scripting or automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell or Python advantageous • Experience across multi-cloud environments including Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform advantageous • Relevant certifications such as Azure Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Architect, AWS Security Specialty, CCSP or CISSP highly regarded
