📋 Description

• Lead and develop the Infrastructure and Security team, currently composed of 4 people • Provide close, structured people management, including regular 1:1s, Individual Development Plans (IDPs/PDI), and tracking of individual growth • Elevate Information Security from an operational role to a strategic function • Automate manual infrastructure processes to remove operational dependencies and reduce risk • Plan and oversee infrastructure architecture on AWS • Monitor and optimize cloud costs, ensuring financial efficiency without compromising performance • Define and track metrics for availability, performance, and security • Implement observability practices and incident response • Collaborate with Development and Product teams to ensure scalable infrastructure • Lead performance management and drive the team's technical and behavioral development • Report directly to the CTO and contribute to strategic technology decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field • Cloud (AWS) or Information Security certifications are a plus • Proven experience managing infrastructure and/or information security teams • Experience working in fast-growing, high-scale environments • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure architecture (AWS) • Track record of delivering infrastructure process automation • Experience in close people management (1:1s, IDPs/PDI, team development) • AWS infrastructure architecture • Infrastructure automation (Infrastructure as Code) • Information security practices and risk management • Monitoring, observability, and incident response • Cloud cost management (FinOps) • Agile methodologies applied to managing technical teams • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Security) are a plus • Experience in regulated environments or with compliance requirements is a plus
