📋 Description

• Design, build, and deploy cloud-based data pipelines • Ingest data from databases, APIs, and streaming platforms • Design, configure, and manage databases for performance and reliability • Integrate and transform data from multiple sources for analysis using ETL and ELT techniques • Apply data modeling, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, business stakeholders, and clients • Participate in or lead client discussions to identify concrete improvement opportunities • Work with multinational and distributed teams • Learn and apply new technologies and solutions

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer working with GCP cloud-based infrastructure & systems • Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and cloud computing services • Extensive experience designing, building, and deploying cloud data pipelines ingesting data from databases, APIs, or streaming platforms • Proficiency in database management systems including SQL (BigQuery is required) and NoSQL • Programming skills in SQL, Python, and other scripting • Proficiency in data modeling and database optimization, including query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning • Knowledge of at least one orchestration and scheduling tool; Airflow is required • Experience with ETL and ELT data integration techniques • Knowledge of modern data transformation tools such as dbt and Dataform • Ability to collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly • Ability to participate in or lead client discussions to identify improvement opportunities • Knowledge of Git, Jira, Confluence, and similar tools • Experience in multinational environments and distributed teams • Certifications in big data technologies or cloud platforms preferred • Experience with BI solutions such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau preferred • Experience with ETL tools such as Talend or Alteryx preferred • Experience with Apache Spark, especially in GCP environments, preferred • Experience with Databricks preferred • Experience with Azure cloud-based infrastructure and systems preferred
