📋 Description

• Design and build scalable, cloud-native data platforms • Mentor and guide engineers through knowledge sharing and code reviews • Create robust, maintainable ETL/ELT pipelines integrating diverse systems • Lead by example by writing high-quality, testable code • Participate in architecture and design discussions • Decompose complex problems into modular, efficient, scalable components • Support data governance and quality efforts, including data lineage, cataloging, and access management • Participate in architectural discussions, iteration planning, and feature sizing meetings • Implement data analytics products using on-premises and cloud data platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in data engineering, building production-grade pipelines on big data platforms • Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem and cloud data platforms, especially Databricks • High proficiency in Python, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Impala, Airflow, NiFi, and SQL • Hands-on experience with Databricks and Snowflake; Databricks preferred • Experience with Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, or Talend • Working knowledge of DevOps/CI-CD practices, including Git, automated testing, release pipelines, and observability • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex data issues • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Resilience, emotional intelligence, and focus on agile delivery • Deep understanding of the difference between coding and engineering • Advanced oral English required for collaboration with global teams • Advanced Spanish required • Experience developing Java-based applications desired • Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants desired
