📋 Description

• Provide leadership and guidance to the data engineering team, including mentoring, coaching, goal-setting, task assignment, and resource management • Support developers and improve data engineering processes • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and challenges • Provide technical expertise and direction in data engineering, including tool, technology, and methodology selection • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, define scope, and create project plans • Support project managers in meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies • Act as a trusted advisor for the customer • Oversee the design and architecture of scalable, efficient data solutions • Guide data modeling, database design, and data integration • Align coding standards and conduct code reviews • Introduce quality assurance processes for data pipelines and workflows • Optimize data processing and storage for performance, efficiency, and cost savings • Evaluate and implement new technologies, including CI/CD and quality assurance improvements • Serve as the main point of contact for other project teams and contributors • Maintain, validate, and regularly review technical documentation • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field • Strong technical skills in data engineering • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Scala • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and services • Experience implementing data solutions in a cloud environment • Expertise with ETL frameworks, data pipelines, and data warehousing solutions • Proven experience leading and managing a team of data engineers • In-depth knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data integration • Strong project management skills • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Continuous learning mindset • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is typically required • Additional certifications in data integration tools or platforms are advantageous
