📋 Description

• Provide translation and localization services in the marketing and IT sectors • Perform marketing and IT translations • Conduct linguistic review and quality assurance • Check terminology consistency using translation memories, glossaries, and style guides • Guarantee the quality of deliverables • Work as part of a dynamic team in an international environment • Provide services on an ongoing, project-based schedule • Respond quickly to changing project needs and priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Native in French Canadian • Degree in Applied Linguistics, Translation or equivalent experience • IT skills with knowledge and experience of SDL Studio and CAT tools • Preferred experience as a translator specialized in translation and proofreading in marketing and IT • Editorial and/or journalistic skills • Up-to-date with language and terminology trends • Excellent written and spoken English • Familiarity with US American culture and pop culture • Ability to recognize wordplay or visual references and localize them into the target language • Detail-oriented and quality-driven • Passion for languages • Ability to work within a confidential environment • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with changing project priorities and tight deadlines • Available to travel as business calls • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Good availability, potentially at least 4 hours per day • Quick response times
