📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive study guides, learning materials, and assessment activities in accordance with approved module outlines and institutional templates. • Design learning content that aligns with programme outcomes, curriculum requirements, institutional standards, and NQF expectations. • Develop valid, reliable, and academically rigorous formative and summative assessments. • Ensure learning materials are current, academically sound, and incorporate relevant research and best practices. • Develop content that is suitable for distance and blended learning environments. • Ensure language accuracy, academic integrity, instructional quality, and consistency throughout all learning materials. • Collaborate with Programme Coordinators, Subject Matter Experts, Editors, and the Quality Assurance Office throughout the development process. • Revise and update learning materials based on academic feedback and quality assurance recommendations. • Ensure compliance with institutional quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements. • Meet all development milestones and submission deadlines.

🎯 Requirements

• A Master's degree in Education or the relevant discipline related to the module(s) applied for (essential) • A recognised teaching qualification will be advantageous where applicable • At least two years' experience in higher education, curriculum development, content development, academic writing, or learning material development • Demonstrable experience in developing study guides, learning materials, or assessments within higher education • Experience in distance or online education will serve as an advantage • Familiarity with South African higher education quality assurance frameworks • Computer literacy with access to a reliable internet connection and a laptop or desktop computer
