📋 Description

• Develop and maintain a native Android application using Kotlin • Implement new functionalities and improve existing application components • Work with Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views • Ensure application stability, performance, and code quality • Implement and optimize accessibility features in native Android applications • Ensure compatibility with TalkBack • Work with Android Accessibility APIs and Compose Semantics • Implement and configure content descriptions, roles, and states • Manage accessibility focus and navigation • Support scalable text and accessible font sizes • Optimize touch targets for accessibility • Ensure accessible navigation throughout the application • Perform accessibility testing, particularly using TalkBack • Identify and resolve accessibility-related issues • Validate implemented solutions against relevant accessibility standards • Support compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in native Android development • Very strong practical knowledge of Kotlin • Commercial experience with Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views • Extensive hands-on experience implementing accessibility in native Android applications • Strong practical experience with TalkBack • Experience with Android Accessibility APIs / Compose Semantics • Experience implementing Content Descriptions, Accessibility Roles, Accessibility States, and Accessibility Focus Management • Experience with scalable text and accessible font sizes • Experience optimizing touch targets and accessible navigation • Practical experience in accessibility testing, particularly with TalkBack • Knowledge of accessibility standards, ideally WCAG 2.1/2.2 • English communication skills
