It provides financial support (scholarships), mentorship, community-building, and program management for initiatives such as Uganda–Germany and Kenya–Germany programs, and conducts research and impact analysis on migration and education outcomes.

📋 Description

• Manage the ongoing financial accounting for the German entities • Record, categorize, and reconcile business transactions • Perform account and bank reconciliations • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including payment runs • Prepare monthly close processes and internal financial reports • File supporting documents in a structured manner • Support payroll accounting and related HR administration • Track the finances of the growing ISA portfolio • Help shape and optimize financial processes • Report directly to the Director of Finance and serve as the primary point of contact for accounting-related questions

🎯 Requirements

• Completed commercial training or degree (e.g., tax clerk, financial accountant, office management specialist with a focus on accounting, business administration) • At least 1 year of professional experience • Good knowledge of German accounting standards • Very good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets • Fluent German (at least C1) and good English • Careful, independent, and well-structured approach to work
