📋 Description

• Support the client onboarding process for assigned client engagements • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable management • Prepare bookkeeping entries, monthly close activities, financial reporting, and analysis • Support payroll and special projects as assigned • Prepare depreciation schedules, sales journals, and sales tax returns • Review and reconcile payroll records and employment tax returns • Support regular and detailed audits • Assist with revenue forecasting and profit margin analysis • Support general ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable and receivable • Assist in preparing and filing corporate and individual income tax returns, including annual 1099s • Research complex tax issues and identify appropriate solutions • Assist with research projects and preparation of financial reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as accounting, finance, economics, business, etc. • Entry-level position; candidates with up to 2 years of experience are ideal • Eagerness to learn more about US Accounting Systems • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Business English; all interviews conducted in English • Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel • Quantitative and analytical mindset with ability to support complex data analysis and reporting activities • Dedication to pursuing a career focused on accounting and tax • Ability to work in ambiguous environments while prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced setting • Excellent cross-group collaboration and teamwork skills • Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures • Experience with Accounting Software Systems is a plus • US GAAP knowledge/experience is a plus • Home office • Work hours based on US time zones (EST) • Travelling might be required
