📋 Description

• Own the ordering process for finished goods, components, packaging, and POS materials through goods receipt • Manage manufacturers in Asia regarding order confirmations, production, pre-shipment quality control, and shipping documents • Identify delays at an early stage and escalate them with proposed solutions • Measure supplier performance using a scorecard covering on-time delivery, quality, and response time • Make deviations visible before they become problems • Maintain specifications, master data, and supplier documentation • Coordinate payments with Finance • Track supplier performance • Continuously improve procurement processes, including automation and AI • Convert monthly sales and inventory planning into accurate, on-time, complete orders that meet agreed quality standards • Report directly to the COO

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of operational procurement experience with manufacturers in Asia, ideally for a consumer goods brand supplying retailers • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with many parallel orders • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets • Fluent German and very good English • Systematic working style and the ability to identify errors before an order is placed • Ability to manage suppliers in a friendly yet persistent manner across time zones • Ideally, experience with components in the beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG sector, such as packaging and applicators • ERP and demand/supply planning experience, including PO workflows and master data • Experience with pre-shipment inspections or QC service providers
