📋 Description

• Design and maintain data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing. • Create and implement data strategy, architecture, and best practices. • Lead the organization in making strategic improvements to data engineering solutions. • Apply strong understanding of core systems and retail banking operations. • Manage and optimize data-intensive systems across UAE, Egypt, Pakistan, and other markets. • Develop new requirements for on-premises and cloud data lakes. • Estimate efforts, design solutions, and manage data architecture for efficient data management. • Handle change release management and resource allocation for data projects. • Deliver critical applications influencing bank management decisions and regulatory reporting. • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record in leading data strategy and architecture. • Expertise in core systems, retail banking systems, and data-intensive applications. • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Data Lake, Azure Data Lake, and other relevant data platforms. • Experience with business intelligence, advanced analytics, and real-time streaming platforms. • Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide and collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Ability to estimate efforts, design effective solutions, and manage resources efficiently. • Understanding of data security and compliance regulations in the banking industry. • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to complex data challenges. • Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management.
