📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of data warehouse specialists • Architect and implement data warehouse designs aligned with business needs and strategic objectives • Manage and optimize data operations, including ingestion, transformation, and loading • Collaborate with business units and IT teams to translate data requirements into technical specifications • Identify opportunities for platform enhancements and upgrades • Ensure data warehouse security and governance, including compliance measures • Lead data platform patching and maintenance to maintain availability, performance, and reliability • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support data-informed decision-making • Create and deliver reports and presentations to senior leadership on data warehouse performance and key metrics

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred • A minimum of 10 years of experience in data warehousing, with a proven track record of leading complex data platforms and initiatives • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloudera, Kafka, Azure Cosmos DB, Data Bricks, and NoSQL platforms • Strong leadership and mentorship skills • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities • History of successful data warehousing projects and understanding of industry best practices • Experience in data security and governance, regulatory compliance, and robust security measures • Familiarity with data platform upgrades and patching • Analytical thinking and ability to interpret complex data • Proactive and innovative problem-solving approach • Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
