📋 Description

• Lead and manage global real-time in-platform administration, ensuring efficient and secure data management • Oversee data migrations, governance, and performance optimization using big data platforms and cloud services • Drive data-driven innovation by identifying and implementing technologies and strategies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on data-related projects and ensure successful delivery • Mentor and guide data professionals, fostering continuous learning and improvement • Monitor industry trends and incorporate advancements in big data and cloud technologies into strategies • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations • Develop stakeholder relationships and provide updates and insights on data management initiatives • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

🎯 Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in big data platforms such as Cloudera/Hadoop, Spark, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Proficiency in data management tools and programming languages, including Python, SQL, Kafka, and Airflow • Proven experience leading and managing data-related projects, with a track record of successful deliveries • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of data professionals • Deep understanding of data governance, data migrations, and performance optimization techniques • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders • Analytical mindset focused on problem-solving and innovative thinking • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within the data management or technology domain • Experience in the financial services industry is an advantage
