📋 Description

• Establish and manage the QA function within the assigned portfolio, aligned with Mashreq QA Policy and TCOE framework • Implement standardized testing methodologies, tools, processes, and templates across portfolio projects • Align QA strategy with business goals, IT objectives, and regulatory requirements • Lead implementation of TCOE governance policies and best practices • Collaborate with process governance, technical leadership, transformation office, and change execution teams • Tailor QA practices to portfolio-specific domain needs, including Digital Banking and Retail Banking • Ensure consistent application of QA policies, templates, and standards • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and users on requirements, test planning, and execution • Monitor testing projects for compliance, quality outcomes, and timely delivery • Track QA metrics and KPIs including defect trends, coverage, and cycle time • Present QA performance reports to portfolio stakeholders and Head of TCOE • Provide insights and recommendations based on test results, trends, and risk indicators • Identify improvement opportunities and enhance QA practices • Promote QA maturity through mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing • Encourage innovative tools and techniques aligned with TCOE goals • Support onboarding and upskilling of QA team members • Apply risk-based testing based on business impact and technical complexity • Contribute to improved user experience and customer satisfaction • Analyze requirements to define scope and evaluate technical feasibility • Ensure top deliverables are prioritized and take personal responsibility for outcomes • Produce QA strategy documents, test plans, exit reports, automation strategy and execution summaries, weekly status reports, dashboards, and QA process SOPs • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly QA audits and reporting

🎯 Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in banking QA across domains such as Core Banking, Digital, and Trade • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative discipline • Experience in QA and QA leadership roles • Experience working with QA teams • Advanced understanding of automation scripting, tagging conventions, and test case design • Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle, severity categorization, defect aging, and defect removal efficiency • Experience with test data provisioning, synthetic data generation, and environment setup • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, Grafana, and Power BI • Proficiency validating APIs for functionality, reliability, and security • Ability to define and track automation coverage, execution metrics, defect density and leakage trends, productivity benchmarks, and exit-criteria automation • Experience building dashboards with auto-populated metrics and heat maps • Root cause analysis, risk identification, and mitigation planning • Stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, and clear documentation • Experience leading triage calls, peer reviews, and coaching junior testers • Experience driving QA process optimization, standardization, and asset reuse • Knowledge of banking applications and QA best practices • Experience in application design, architecture, development, deployment, testing design, and implementation of TCOE practices • Ability to plan and organize effectively • Strong interpersonal communication and cooperative work relationships
