📋 Description

• Process transactions according to SOP/OPM and UCP/ISBP/ISP requirements, with charges recovered according to extant guidelines • Perform sanction checking of relevant parties in documents • Handle Commodity Trade Operations documents • Authorize/input transactions into the system and prepare/authorize relevant SWIFT messages • Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Team Head • Share errors and knowledge gaps with the line manager/team to address customer service issues • Prevent revenue leakage through accurate charges collection • Ensure no outstanding reconciliation entries remain pending in Nostro or Internal accounts • Manage customer expectations and contribute ideas to automation projects • Participate in team huddles and collaborate to resolve issues • Implement solutions quickly and work with onshore units to ensure seamless client delivery • Close audit observations effectively and promptly • Take corrective and preventive action based on customer complaints, operations errors and quality/RCSA analysis • Recommend changes to SOP, OPM and ADM to improve service levels without compromising controls • Recommend training and workshops to address knowledge gaps • Immediately escalate errors, customer complaints, service defects and counterparty issues to the manager • Share responsibility with senior colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • At least 3-4 years of relevant working experiences in Trade Operations • Expert level knowledge in Understanding of Import Payments (Trust Receipts, Advance Payments, Funded Risk Participations) • Expert level knowledge of accounting entries and UATs • Understanding of amortization principles • Good communication skills, Team Management and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) • Attentive to details, good analytical skills and interpersonal skills • Able to work under pressure, excellent organizational skills and good team player
