📋 Description

• Lead the development of K-6 mathematics textbook content aligned to the Australian Curriculum (Version 9.0) from planning through to completion • Oversee content creation workflows and coordinate with internal team members • Conduct thorough reviews of all content to ensure alignment with Australian Curriculum content descriptions, achievement standards, and mathematical proficiencies • Provide specific, actionable feedback enabling precise content edits and world-class quality standards • Champion AI tools throughout the content development process to maximise productivity and quality • Continuously improve team processes and workflows by identifying opportunities to integrate new AI capabilities • Ensure consistency in pedagogical approach, mathematical rigour, and year-level progression across all materials

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience teaching primary mathematics (K-6) in Australian schools • Deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics (Version 9.0), including content descriptions, achievement standards, and proficiency strands • Familiarity with implementing Version 9.0 curriculum changes • Strong familiarity with current AI tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini • Genuine enthusiasm for using AI tools to enhance productivity • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to provide clear, specific feedback on content • Strong organisational and communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines • Collaborative and team-oriented approach • Nice to have: experience in project management, publishing, or educational content development • Nice to have: familiarity with state-specific primary mathematics syllabi, such as NSW K-6 Syllabus and Victorian Curriculum • Nice to have: experience with digital learning platforms or ed-tech environments • Nice to have: experience with LaTeX or mathematical typesetting • Nice to have: basic understanding of coding
