📋 Description

• Discover and open untapped data sources using creative scraping and acquisition techniques • Analyze trends, audience behavior, and performance across streaming and social platforms • Identify underserved categories and growth opportunities, and propose next steps • Prototype and deploy machine learning models on AWS for virality prediction and content analysis • Validate model performance in production • Design and interpret A/B tests, holdouts, and spend experiments across releases and campaigns • Advise the team on allocation of the next dollar • Own dashboards and reports used by leadership • Investigate the drivers of changing metrics • Use LLMs and agentic coding tools to accelerate data cleaning, analysis, and reporting • Work autonomously alongside the founder, team, and backend engineer

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or a related quantitative field • 3 or more years of hands-on data science experience in fast-paced business environments • Expert-level proficiency with Python data science and ML frameworks • SQL as a daily tool • Experience scraping and acquiring raw data from new sources beyond standard APIs • Ability to design and properly interpret experiments, A/B tests, or causal analyses • Experience deploying models used in production and maintaining their reliability over time • Extensive hands-on experience with agentic coding tools and LLMs in data workflows • Ability to identify opportunities in data, propose next steps, and create trusted dashboards and visualizations using standard libraries or Tableau • Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and performance-oriented environment • Interest in music, video, or social media is a plus
