📋 Description

• Record invitations to participate in competitive bidding processes in the database, ensuring traceability and a complete proposal history. • Organize, print, and compile invitation documents; prepare the technical dossier and forward it, together with the pricing spreadsheet, to the coordination team for analysis and validation. • Formally confirm, by email, receipt of information and documents submitted by suppliers and clients. • Prepare commercial and technical proposals in accordance with the Invitation to Bid. • Issue standard letters requesting deadline extensions or declining invitations. • Perform quantity takeoffs based on architectural and engineering design documents. • Critically analyze designs, identifying risks, clashes, scope deviations, and impacts on costs and schedules. • Support the preparation, review, and validation of estimates. • Serve as an interface with the Design, Planning, and Construction teams to align technical information. • Use BIM tools, with a focus on Revit, to extract, check, and validate quantities. • Provide occasional support to the Construction team by participating in technical site inspections when requested.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. • Proven experience in quantity takeoffs and construction estimating, particularly for building systems and specialty disciplines. • Experience reading and interpreting architectural and engineering design documents. • Strong critical analysis skills and a field-oriented perspective. • Knowledge of Revit to support quantity takeoffs. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred. • A practical construction-site background is a plus. • Experience with design coordination and clash detection is a plus. • Experience applying BIM methodology to estimating is a plus. • Affirmative action position for Persons with Disabilities.
