📋 Description

• Monitor the availability and performance of network assets, links, and services • Monitor alarms, events, dashboards, and metrics in Zabbix and Grafana • Perform the initial triage of incidents, identifying impact, priority, and required information • Perform basic connectivity, infrastructure, and service diagnostics • Support the configuration and maintenance of hosts, templates, items, triggers, discovery rules, and maps in Zabbix • Support the creation and adjustment of dashboards, panels, and alerts in Grafana • Check for basic data collection failures via SNMP, ICMP, agents, and APIs • Log, update, and track tickets • Engage internal teams, customers, carriers, and vendors in accordance with escalation procedures • Monitor incidents under your responsibility, contributing to SLA compliance • Identify recurring alarms and flag opportunities for adjustment • Participate in updating procedures, documentation, and knowledge bases • Perform complete shift handovers

🎯 Requirements

• Basic or practical knowledge of Zabbix • Familiarity with hosts, templates, items, triggers, discovery, and maps • Knowledge of Grafana for reading, analyzing, and making basic dashboard adjustments • Basic knowledge of SNMP, ICMP, and agents • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks, IP addressing, DNS, VLANs, latency, packet loss, and availability • Ability to interpret charts, metrics, alerts, and trends • Familiarity with ping, traceroute, MTR, nslookup/dig, and SSH or Telnet • Basic knowledge of Linux • Basic knowledge of incident management, escalation, and SLA compliance • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, and attention to detail • Availability to work shifts • Previous professional experience is preferred but not required • Courses, labs, academic projects, or personal projects demonstrating familiarity with Zabbix, Grafana, and networking are valued
