📋 Description

• Develop and maintain customized software solutions for a large European public-sector customer • Implement software components according to design specifications • Perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and resolution • Perform unit testing of software components • Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines • Collaborate with teammates and communicate with project stakeholders • Provide technical input into product roadmaps • Participate in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization • Support and optimize CI/CD processes • Develop a tax administration system covering tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems • Work as part of a project team of more than 20 people

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Java development • Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus • Understanding of microservices architecture and containers, including Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging, including Kafka and ActiveMQ • Good understanding of testing principles • Ability to communicate confidently in English • Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams • Experience in Angular front-end development (nice to have) • German or Swiss German language skills (nice to have)
