📋 Description

• Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot IP networking components in a mission-critical datacenter network built on Cisco Nexus platforms • Support a large-scale SaaS production environment • Interact with external customers to troubleshoot network connectivity-related issues • Partner with Network Architects and Engineers to improve data-center network environments • Initiate multiple projects for Network Operations improvements • Partner with internal business units to understand organizational needs • Continuously improve and apply standards for operational excellence • Review, analyze, and execute network change requests • Execute, document, and develop network automation for repetitive tasks • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep systems secure, resilient, and future-ready

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working with medium-to-large enterprise networks • Hands-on expertise with network security, including Palo Alto firewalls • Hands-on expertise with load balancing, including F5 or equivalent • Hands-on expertise with routing, including MPLS, OSPF, and BGP • Hands-on expertise with switching, including Cisco Nexus 9k/7k/5k/2k • Working knowledge of Cisco IOS; Nexus OS preferred • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python, including Netmiko, Nornir, and NAPALM • Demonstrated knowledge of platform operating systems, router platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols • Knowledge of how MPLS, OSPF, and BGP interact with the network • Experience with datacenter networking, including DC fabric, interoffice routing, and site-to-site VPNs • Strong troubleshooting skills and a data-driven approach to solving complex network issues • Ability to create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and runbooks • Experience implementing solutions involving large data centers, interoffice routing plans, site-to-site VPNs, firewalls, IPSec, and monitoring is a plus
