📋 Description

• Design and ship the Kubernetes control plane • Own architecture and implementation decisions for scheduling, operators, provisioning, and node lifecycle • Own the reliability of the Kubernetes control plane • Reduce cluster provisioning time from weeks of tickets to minutes of automation • Partner with Product Managers to set priorities, scope initiatives, and make technical and business tradeoffs • Improve engineering standards through code review and knowledge sharing across the Cloud Platform organization • Build Mistral's end-to-end Kubernetes product on in-house infrastructure with GPU support for training, inference, and general-purpose compute

🎯 Requirements

• Production experience shipping systems in Go • Experience running Kubernetes in production • Experience building Kubernetes operators, schedulers, or controllers is ideal • Direct Linux experience • Experience running GPU workloads on Kubernetes, or confidence in quickly owning that domain • Extensive experience building backend or infrastructure systems • Experience partnering with product, design, and business teams to ship software used by real users • Low-ego, team-first mindset
