📋 Description

• Investigate fraud attacks, quantify their impact, and present findings to drive prioritisation and response • Propose and refine rule-based mitigations with fraud operations and engineering through implementation • Build and maintain reporting and dashboards for fraud trends, rule performance, and operational metrics • Collaborate with fraud operations, data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate insights into action • Identify emerging patterns and flag risks before escalation • Complete a technical take-home SQL test and participate in recruiter, hiring manager, and behavioural interviews as part of the hiring process

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst (Fraud) or in a similar role; this can be made up for with accomplishments • Strong problem solving skills • Advanced proficiency with SQL and complex queries across large datasets • Experience in fraud, risk, or financial services • Some exposure to Python or scripting for data manipulation and analysis • Proficiency with a BI tool such as PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, Superset, or Redash • Strong stakeholder management skills • Ability to communicate findings clearly to fraud operations, product managers, engineers, and senior leadership • Comfort working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet tool • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
