📋 Description

• Join the Corporate Affairs and R&D teams as an Engineering Relations Specialist • Work closely with engineering teams to communicate what Moniepoint is building in language understood by expert engineers • Translate engineers' work and learnings into high-quality narratives • Create content that earns respect in engineering communities, achieves acceptance at top-tier conferences, and attracts exceptional engineers globally • Discover compelling engineering stories by asking the right questions and proactively pursuing interesting topics

🎯 Requirements

• A background in software engineering or computer science; must have written code professionally and understand how engineering teams think and work • Experience in a fintech, infrastructure, or high-scale engineering environment • Exceptional writing skills: clarity, precision, and the ability to make complex ideas compelling without oversimplifying them • Instinct to find stories and proactively pursue interesting topics • Genuine understanding of credible, shareable, and respected technical content in global engineering communities • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently in a fully remote environment • Developer relations or technical community management experience is a strong plus • Experience writing conference talk abstracts or proposals, with evidence of submissions accepted at recognised events, is a strong plus • Experience writing video scripts or working closely with creative and production teams is a strong plus • Existing presence in engineering communities through a blog, open source contributions, speaking experience, or a following in developer spaces is a strong plus
