📋 Description

• Implement and maintain security controls in AWS, including identity and access management, networking, encryption, key management, and logging. • Administer and improve infrastructure security tools, including monitoring, vulnerability management, network protection, firewall, and WAF solutions such as Cloudflare. • Analyze and investigate security alerts, carry out the prescribed response procedures, and escalate critical situations or those requiring cross-functional involvement. • Identify vulnerabilities and track their remediation, perform hardening adjustments, and propose corrective actions based on agreed-upon risks and priorities. • Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and Development teams to implement security across clusters, pipelines, and automation. • Complete security assessments and questionnaires, gather evidence, and participate in audits, explaining the technical controls under your responsibility. • Document configurations, procedures, and solutions, sharing best practices with the teams involved. • Strengthen the security of cloud environments, ensuring they are secure, resilient, and compliant.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including implementing or operating security controls. • Applied knowledge of IAM, networking, encryption, KMS, and security logging. • Experience with cloud or infrastructure security tools, including alert analysis and issue investigation. • Knowledge of infrastructure and systems security, including hardening and vulnerability remediation. • Ability to investigate issues, propose solutions, and independently lead technical activities while recognizing when to involve other stakeholders. • Familiarity with security requirements related to ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2, including control documentation and evidence gathering. • Nice to have: previous experience working with Infrastructure, SRE, DevOps, or Development teams. • Nice to have: knowledge of Kubernetes and container security. • Nice to have: participation in audits, customer assessments, or the preparation of security evidence. • Nice to have: cloud or information security certifications. • Nice to have: experience in fintech, SaaS companies, or regulated environments. • Nice to have: English proficiency for meetings and documentation.
