📋 Description

• Develop and implement a global go-to-market strategy for railway infrastructure • Strategic market positioning and development of specifications as well as listings with rail operators and infrastructure managers • Active participation in rail industry associations, committees and institutions • Identification and development of new infrastructure projects (new build & modernization) • Expansion and scaling of the global infrastructure business • Negotiation and preparation of specification agreements and framework contracts • Close collaboration with international sales, product management and R&D teams • Leverage existing regional rail networks (Germany, France, Spain — DE, FR, ES) for global integration • Strategic integration of the entire product portfolio (e.g., innovative connection technology) into infrastructure projects

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification • Several years of professional experience (ideally 6–10+ years) in the railway or infrastructure sector • Proven experience in strategically building and developing new market segments at a global level • Demonstrable experience in global business development or strategic sales • Industry experience in the rail infrastructure segment is mandatory • Confident handling of global matrix structures and cross-functional collaboration • Strong hunter mentality, entrepreneurial mindset, and both strategic and operational execution capability • Convincing communication and presentation skills combined with strong assertiveness • Business-fluent (negotiation-level) English, written and spoken • High willingness to travel internationally
