📋 Description

• Build and evolve two-way synchronization with systems of record such as Jira, Linear, and Asana • Design, build, and maintain integrations across Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Office, video conferencing platforms, Slack, and Teams • Build and evolve Mural's shared integration platform frameworks, services, and patterns • Own content pathways including imports, image panels, Unsplash APIs, copy/paste, file uploads, iframe embedding, PDF-to-Mural conversion, exports, and downloads • Partner across teams on render-for-export, notification engine, and company-level migration boundaries • Maintain the public API for third-party developers with backwards compatibility • Lead projects from research, design, and proof of concept through execution, release, and iteration • Deliver flexible, maintainable solutions with accountability for quality, performance, reliability, and security • Use AI tools in fundamental workflows • Design, plan, and implement automated testing and documentation strategies • Participate in technical designs and talks, review code, and mentor early-career colleagues • Contribute to improving team processes and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Fluency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with technologies such as React, Node.js, or other modern frameworks • Hands-on experience integrating with third-party APIs and platforms, including OAuth, token lifecycle management, webhooks, rate limiting and backoff, pagination, versioning, and graceful degradation • 5+ years building and shipping large-scale production software as part of an agile engineering team • Strong track record of designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems • Outcome-oriented and highly-experimental interest in AI-driven development practices • Proven experience planning technical projects and delivering new systems and features iteratively • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to lead technical discussions and navigate trade-offs • Experience building against Microsoft Teams or Office add-in SDKs, or shipping through a partner marketplace or app review process is a plus • Experience designing and maintaining a public developer API • Experience with Python • Familiarity with secure file handling at scale, including permissions checks, malware scanning, and content validation on upload • Experience with content migration or format conversion between products • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments or startups is a plus
