📋 Description

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team for enterprise automation • Lead development and maintenance of enterprise integrations across the technology stack • Drive technical collaborations with strategic partners, aligning requirements, timelines, and delivery • Ensure integrations meet standards for security, reliability, scalability, and production readiness • Coach and develop engineers through feedback, career development, and ownership opportunities • Foster a high-trust environment with empowered decision-making and accountability • Lead hiring, onboarding, and team development • Partner with Product, Design, and stakeholders to align priorities and deliver product and platform outcomes • Establish lightweight processes and clear expectations for fast, high-quality execution • Guide architectural and technical decisions involving scalability, reliability, performance, and speed • Mentor engineers and encourage strong engineering practices • Dive into technical details or code when needed to unblock the team while focusing on people leadership and team effectiveness

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a first-line Engineering Manager directly leading engineers and delivering meaningful product or platform outcomes • Strong experience in at least one of: strategic integrations, production-grade connector reliability, governance and observability, developer experience, platform engineering, or infrastructure tooling • Experience coaching engineers, providing actionable feedback, supporting career development, and navigating difficult conversations • Adaptability in fast-moving environments • Hands-on software engineering experience and technical depth to mentor engineers, contribute to architectural discussions, and assess complex technical trade-offs • Comfortable diving into code or technical challenges when needed • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, and customer-facing teams • Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment • Strategic partner collaboration experience, preferred • JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js familiarity, preferred • Passion for open-source and developer tooling, preferred • Experience with AI-native products or AI-powered features, preferred • Existing right to work in the relevant country, except Germany where n8n can sponsor visas • Company language is English
